Vehicle-display planning

Vehicles change the build sequence from the ground up.

Many SEMA exhibitors are not placing only products in an exhibit; they are working around a car, truck, motorcycle, or off-road vehicle. That changes the order of every on-site decision.

We start with the vehicle, the exhibit location, and the current exhibitor rules before finalizing the structure around it. That is how we avoid planning a clean layout that cannot be built safely once the vehicle is staged.

Vehicle spotting is sequenced before an exhibit is built around the final display position.

Current show and venue rules commonly address fuel level, battery condition, fuel-cap security, and drip-pan use; teams should confirm each requirement in the current exhibitor kit.

Raised platforms, turntables, and ramps are engineered around verified vehicle weight, approach angle, and floor-load constraints.

Graphics and structural work are scheduled around the approved vehicle move-in window across the Las Vegas Convention Center campus.

Footprints that carry the program

Island exhibits lead the SEMA conversation.

We focus first on island programs: 20x20, 20x30, 20x40, 30x30, 30x40, 40x40, and larger. These footprints create the room for product staging, meetings, live demonstrations, and vehicle planning without compressing the visitor path.

Peninsula and deeper inline positions work well for focused product stories. A 10x20 can still read as a finished environment with the right graphics, lighting, and counter plan. We can also support 10x10 spaces when that is the actual assignment.

SEMA runs November 3–6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. AAPEX runs November 3–5 at the Venetian Expo. Companies participating in both need an exhibit plan that respects two distinct venue schedules rather than treating the week as one generic build.

SEMA turnkey rental questions

What does a turnkey SEMA Show exhibit rental include?

The exhibit structure, mounted graphics, flooring, furniture, lighting, delivery to the Las Vegas Convention Center, installation, and dismantle are planned together. Material handling and electrical are excluded and ordered through the show's general service contractor.

Can a turnkey SEMA rental accommodate a vehicle display?

Yes. A vehicle changes the planning sequence. We coordinate the exhibit design around the approved spotting window, verified vehicle information, platform engineering, ramps, and any turntable requirements.

Do you provide material handling or electrical at the SEMA Show?

No. Material handling—also called drayage—and electrical are ordered directly from the show's general service contractor. We do not provide either service.

Can one exhibit partner coordinate SEMA and AAPEX work?

Yes. SEMA runs November 3–6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, while AAPEX runs November 3–5 at the Venetian Expo. We can plan exhibit work around both venues when a program requires it.
